Meet The Rising Creatives In Design
A selection where we're turning the spotlight on incredible versatile creatives that continue to bless our feed with their craft, from set designers, photographers to visionary art directors and beyond.
It's not just about witnessing their creations, it's about experiencing the exhilaration of being immersed in a world filled with such awe-inspiring talent.
TIME TRAVELLING: BAROQUE AFFAIRS
Omer Gilony, is a talented visual artist based in Lisbon. She opened her first business in floral design when she was just 16, sparking her passion for set design and event decor. She’s the girl for baroque-inspired experiences with some type of surrealism. Her work truly takes you to bygone eras, reviving those times beautifully.
Omer has collaborated with brands such as Isabel Marant, Adidas, Dolce Vita, and Parfois. Some people want Rihanna performing at their wedding, I want Omer’s visual storytelling performing. Bellow are some of my personal favorites:
BEHING LENS AND ICONIC SETS
Casey Zhang is a photographer and creative director based in LA. Her portfolio includes collaborations with renowned brands like COS, Aritzia, Merit Beauty and Summer Fridays, but what captivated me the most was her studies on desert, butter and beauty.
One of the projects that brought Casey into the spotlight was her work on the iconic Rhode lip gloss phone case campaign - where she was behind the lens.
Beyond art direction, back in 2020, her connection with interior design was featured on Architectural Digest, a minimalist approach was showcased in her Tiny, Hyper-Modular Brooklyn Apartment.
A FUSION OF CONTENT AND ART: A MIXED MEDIA LEGACY
Anahita, based in Auckland, New Zealand, is a versatile mixed media photographer and art director. Specializing in visual storytelling and the fusion of content and art, her focus lies in texture, form, and world-building within the realms of beauty and design, her art is not only about surface beauty but also about exploring deeper layers of meaning and imagination.
I discovered Anahita’s work through Instagram reels - my algorithm is a very loyal source of taste, duh. Having also recently done editorial beauty issues for Viva Magazine and Sauce Magazine - the legacy of teenage girl scrapbooking grows.
HARMONIES IN PIXELS: THE INTERSECTION OF FASHION, TECHNOLOGY, AND MUSIC IN 3D ART
Meet Ruffin, a young multi-faceted digital artist based in Virginia Beach, US. Specializing in conceptual & contemporary 3D imagery and visuals, influenced by the culture, music, and fashion.
I can see Ruffin's design gracing a future Frank Ocean’s album cover, it’s a dreamy collaboration that makes so much sense, adding a whole new layer of depth and meaning to the music it represents. That's the kind of impact his work has – it's evocative, rich, and I dare to say powerful enough to get Frank back in studio - a girl can dream.
His creativity, combined with an unmatched attention to detail, sets his art apart, and here is a proof of that:
EXPLORING IDENTITIES OF BLACKNESS THROUGH PLAYFUL FIGURES
Fritz Von Eric, an artist and content creator originally from Texas but now based in New York, explores the complex expressions of blackness through his playful diva figures, drawing inspiration from queerness, intimacy, and family.
Fashion is so visibly part of his identity and that’s exactly what made me follow him. There’s some sort of coherency in what he wears and what he illustrates, using pops of colors in both art forms in a contemporary, yet timeless way.
ART ON A PLATE: HARVESTING CREATIVITY
Chef-artist Kaitlyn Reinhart, was raised to fall in love with vegetables, plants and flowers in the fields of her native Canada. She started cooking professionally, later in her life, opening a small vegan café in Paris, where she’s currently based in.
As a self-taught cook, Kaitlyn sees culinary as a way to express her creativity, nourishing your body as well as your mind, taking time creating moments of visual delight. Her craft is a result of slowing down savoring each step of the process to create beautiful tasty dishes.
As an independent head, she’s worked with Hermes, Maison Margiela fragances and other Parisian fashion houses.
